MRCVS registered vet provided

Vaccinations, Boosters & Titre Testing

Puppy Vaccinations - Starting from £85.

We have partnered up with "Mi-Mi' from PawCare Vaccination Clinic and are now able to offer U.K.approved and sourced puppy vaccinations. Mi-Mi is a MRCVS registered veterinarian with several years experience and a kind, calm and friendly approach to all the dogs she meets in the clinic.

We offer 3 different packages for the puppy vaccines we provide, which are detailed below, however despite what is included in the packages, all of the vaccinations for each package are the same (unless you request differently). These include Lepto4 (Leptospirosis) and DHPP (Canine Distemper, Hepatitis, Parvovirus and Parainfluenza) Sometimes listed as DHPPi which the I stands for for "Infectious", referring to Leptospirosis. We can also provide vaccinations without Lepto should you prefer - these will need to be discussed in advance, prior to your appointment, to ensure we have sufficient stock available.

The packages are:

We also offer booster vaccinations for adult dogs AND we also provide Kennel Cough and Rabies vaccines for both pûpš and adults.

Boosters: POA
Kennel Cough: £40 pet pet.

Rabies: £50 per pet.

We recommend titre testing your pets when their boosters are due, so as not to over vaccinate them. Please see below...

Titre Testing - £60 per dog.

We now have the availability to TITRE TEST your dogs when they are due their vaccinations. This is done using tests from VacciCheck, which are a simple and affordable titre test, designed to monitor immune status and vaccination failure to prevent over and under vaccination consequences.

We offer a single test that covers 3 of the core vaccinations.
These include Canine Distemper, Hepatitis & Parvovirus (DHP).

What is over vaccination and why may it be bad for your pet?
Core vaccines protect our pets from serious infectious diseases, but when over vaccinated, your pet may develop side effects such as fever, allergic reactions and immune mediated diseases.

How can we reduce over vaccination?

Although all veterinarians agree vaccines are necessary for dogs, the frequency in which core vaccines are given may exceed their necessity. The key to identifying the pet’s actual need for vaccination is in a simple titre test.

What is titre testing?

A titre test for core vaccines reveals if your pet is already immunised from the previous vaccination by detecting antibodies. If antibody is present in your pet’s blood, there’s no need to revaccinate.

How vets analyse titre test results:

Studies have shown that any measurable level of antibody for core vaccines indicates your pet is immune and doesn’t require vaccination. This is achieved by taking a blood sample from your dog, performing a titre test in-house with our MRCVS registered partner vet and our vet then assessing the results.
